What are haemorrhoids?
Haemorrhoids, also called piles, are swollen veins in your anus and lower rectum, similar to varicose veins. Haemorrhoids can develop inside the rectum (internal haemorrhoids) or under the skin around the anus (external haemorrhoids). Nearly three out of four adults will have haemorrhoids from time to time. The Rafaelo procedure

How it works
The tip of the HPR45i probe is inserted into- and applied onto the haemorrhoid while a radiofrequency signal, coming from the generator, is applied onto the tip. The haemorrhoid is coagulated by radiofrequency-induced heat, which causes the haemorrhoidal tissue to shrink, and a crust is formed over the tissue. The crust will fall off automatically after some time. Recovery time and return to daily activity quicker are greatly reduced compared to other haemorrhoid procedures.
