M.E.D. Surgical, in partnership with Care Surgical, is delivering:
Collaborate to Learn - The Fundamentals of Patient Positioning as a highly practical study day, designed to support safer, more consistent positioning practice across perioperative teams on Thursday 23 April 2026 at City North Hotel, Dublin.
This programme has been designed to prioritise practical learning.
The day combines:
💥 Faculty-led talks to establish core principles
💥 A dedicated session on Problems & Critical Incidents
💥 Multiple workshop rotations to translate principles into practice
Workshop themes include:
💥 Supine / Trendelenburg
💥 Lateral / park bench
💥 Lithotomy / Lloyd Davies
💥 Prone positioning (including standard and advanced approaches)
💥 Prone positioning for very critical patients (ICU-focused)
5 CPD points available, via the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland, certificate issued in line with attendance requirements.
